When I went to see this film, I wasn't expecting much. I thought, this movie will be stupid, and the funniest parts will be the one we saw in the preview. Somehow, I was disapointed. If I had paid 10 bucks, I would be pissed. You keep looking forward to the next movie they will make fun of, and 99% of the time, it's not funny. You know what, enough with the cat (or other animals) and the old grandmas jokes. The first half of the film was somewhat tolerable, the 2nd one, is another story, it was painful to sit through. The jokes were streched for way too long. I don't even know if I laughed 5 times during this very long 1h15min. film. Avoid it, trust me!

In my opinion, this film should have been a Best Picture nominee this year. Unfortunately, it is not... Great ensemble cast, great acting, great script. At times, the movie might remind you of Soderhberg's "Traffic" but this film is way more complicated. You must be wide awake and pay attention to everything that goes on. Not many people will fully understand this film but it's a good one.

This movie is nominated for Best Picture at this year's Oscars, so my expectations were pretty high. This movie is very political, and it never got me interested. The movie is short and in black and white, and also very much feels like a documentary. The acting is good, but I was completely bored by this film.

With two #1 Singles in the UK, Arctic Monkeys is the next big thing now coming to America. Their first single "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" is very catchy and now starting to rock our airwaves. With their conversational lyrics and their indie beats, this band is already guaranteed to be a lot more than a One-Hit wonder band. Not everybody will like the singer's voice. Definitely worth checking out... Best CD so far this year aside from the Strokes CD.

After this movie was postponed for over 6 months, I was worried that it would suck. I was also worried that all the best parts were in the preview, but I found the preview really funny. I wasn't too disapointed. The movie was light, stupid, absurd but fun. Steve Martin is hilarious and that accent cracks me up. Unfortunately, a few jokes throughout the film fall completely flat.

This movie based on a best-selling novel has a heavy and somewhat complex plot. I would suggest watching it when you're completely wide awake. Rachel Weisz give a great performance and definitely deserves her best supporting actress nomination at the Academy Awards. This great conspiracy plot will keep you intrigued the whole way.

I'm usually not a fan of Woody Allen movies... but this time around, I can say I really enjoyed his new film "Match Point". The screenplay and dialogue are very very good. No wonder the film got an Oscar nomination for best screenplay. For a while, I wasn't too sure in which direction this film was taking us, but I left the theatre pleasantly surprised. And yes, I must admit that Scarlett Johansson looks incredible in this film. Wow!

When I saw the preview for this film a few weeks ago, I thought... Déja Vu !!! Actually, it's even worse that I was predicting it to be. The only cool thing about the movie is the house. The main girl is not a good actress. The film is just over 80 min... yes 80... ! and during that 80 minutes, there's about 10 min. of action... with about 40 seconds of violence... and one hell of a bad ending, if you ask me. Go see something else, plenty of better movies out there.
